I expect greatness because I know what you are capable of. As your creator, I know every hair on your head. I know what you did last week, last year, and yesterday, as I know what the future holds for you and every decision you will make. Trusting Me and letting Me guide your path is the best decision you can make for yourself and the best thing you can teach your family. Because of what I know, I can lead you better than you can lead yourselves, better than you can ever imagine.
There are many kinds of addiction, these are a stronghold of satan and are meant to distract you from Me. Pray incessantly with every step, recruit others to pray for you, invoke the name of Jesus, invite in the Holy Spirit, abide in Me and you can overcome your addiction. Understand that satan holds on tighter to those who have the capability of doing great things for Me. If you are a threat to his mission, he will try harder and more often to distract you from what you are capable of. You have the power to break away when you abide in Me and focus on Me. Yes, it takes effort, but the life waiting for you will be worth it. The life you give back to your family will be blessed.
Give each day to Me, when your struggling, give each hour to Me. Pray every 30 minutes, if necessary. Chant the name of Jesus every moment, if necessary. Satan will flee and you will be free. The more you do this the longer the freedom. Remember the tighter satan holds one the more you are going to do for Me when he lets go. Imagine the gifts he is hiding from you. Imagine the joy you will feel with Me when you break free.
When you feel a weak moment, think of Me, focus on Me and not the thing you desire. Pray and call out to Jesus until the moment passes. Do not sit and wallow in your desire. Do not sit and cry over what you cannot have or what you are missing. For by choosing the addiction, what you think you want or need, you are missing out on so much more with Me! Because I know what is ahead, and I have the best of intentions for you, you can trust Me utterly and completely.
Pray this prayer, make it your mantra in those dark moments… And yes, those moments may be constant some days, but if you stand firm on the name of Jesus and truly believe that I have a better life for you, ready and waiting, you cannot fail. Say these words,
“Dear Lord, I am struggling. Satan knows that the gifts you have given me will help destroy him and he is pulling at me to fail. I want the life you have for me, Lord Jesus. I want to be who you intend for me to be. I believe you and trust you with my future. I cry out to you, Jesus and rebuke satan and his devious plans for me. I rebuke satan in the name of Jesus! I claim the truth. I claim a life with Christ.”
This will take only minutes, say it as often as necessary, some days that will be every 15 minutes, but that is ok. You need power, My power, to overcome satan and release his hold on you. Be diligent and fearless. Declare these words in a loud strong voice, without ceasing and you, we will prevail.
