When time is limited, one must focus more seriously on needs and expectations. One must realize that when time is lessened, priorities stand out and become more critical. When focusing on priorities, be sure to be clear on those that are from the Lord. Those are the priorities that matter most, the ones that will have the greatest impact on those around you. Quiet prayer time will help you define your priorities and hear from Me as to what yours actually are. While trying to bail water from a sinking boat might seem like a priority, if that boat has more than one gaping hole, bailing water is futile and saving lives becomes the priority.
An overabundance of knowledge can seem like a gift, but when used improperly this will be a burden to those around you. All gifts – special skills you seem to possess – are from Me, your Father, for a purpose. Skills you are meant to use on earth for My glory, to bless the lives around you and your own. Don’t be ashamed of things you do not do well, for there are others with gifts and skills in those areas. Find and focus on what you do well, your gifts, and let Me guide you in their proper use. Again, all gifts are intended for a purpose. Be willing to listen and obey and you will reap the benefits and bless those in your life as well.
Parents, watch your children, see who they are becoming as they grow. Allow them to experience a great many things, so that you and they can discover the gifts I have given them. Do not try to mold them into what you think they should be. That is My job. SEE who they are and guide them accordingly. Their purposes were designed by Me before you knew them. Their mission and gifts for life were already set in place before you knew them. Trust in Me, that My divine plan is in motion as your children enter the earth. Lean on Me while raising them and you will not fail.
When seeking the truth, always look to Me. I am the truth, as I am love. For it is within Me that you will find truth and love that surpasses all human understanding. I will lead you down the path I have designed for you while showing you truth in all things that pass your way. The path I have for each of you is narrow, straying is easy if your eyes and focus is no on Me. Your life can be full of joy most of the time if you only focus on Me and do not let the ways of others cloud your vision. I have put others in your path for multiple reasons, but with the end result always being your growth; the building of your character in order for you to become the person I designed you to be. The person I need you to be in order to further My mission, properly effect change in others and ultimately be with Me in heaven.
