You must win at things in your life in order to feel accomplished.  You must fail at things in life in order to learn.  You must encounter darkness in order to appreciate light.  Without suffering consequences of bad decisions, you would never learn the benefit of good decisions.  The life I have designed for you is full of peaks and valleys; good situations and bad ones; good people and bad people.  These things are all meant to teach you, grow you, mold you, and build character so that you become who you were designed to be for Me, in My eyes.  Human opinions shouldn’t matter, don’t matter.  They won’t matter, if you abide in Me. 

I want you to believe and know that I am with you at all times, in EVERY moment.  No human can say that to you.  No human knows your heart and understands your deepest pain.  No human is aware of what shaped you during childhood and no human can help you heal from those old hurts.  I am with you in EVERY moment.  I have been since before you were conceived and I will be until long after you leave earth.  Trust in that.  Know that I have the very best intentions for you throughout your entire journey and w/o Me that journey will not be the best possible journey.   

When I designed you and planned your life, it was for a specific purpose.  You were given gifts, by Me, to help you fulfill that purpose.  Abiding in Me, listening to Me, seeking Jesus first, every day, will allow you to live the life I planned, using the gifts you were given.  This will impact all the people you come into contact with, throughout your life.  Know that every human life is intertwined with others.  Life on earth, all life, is a perfectly choreographed series of events and situations that I designed for My glory in order that you each will have access to the eternal life promised through Jesus’ work on earth.  For satan, it is all a game.  He waits in the darkness, as he is darkness, to trip you up, steer you in the wrong direction.  He uses your weaknesses to draw you away from Me.  He lies constantly, as he is unable to be truthful.  Know that… he is UNABLE to be truthful, for I am the truth.  Abiding in Me will protect you from his lies.  Focusing on Me at the start of each day, dedicating that day to Me and our life together will help shield you from his distracting lies. 

I am amazed by the truth He brings to me and the ways in which that truth appears.  Sometimes in bible verses, sometimes from a book, or conversation with a stranger.  Keep your mind open and you will not miss His messages during your day. 

I often wonder where I will be in a few years, there are worries in my personal life that seem insurmountable.  Things that are not great, ones that I cannot imagine getting better.  I’m not one to worry much, but I do have moments.  I’ve known for many years that it’s a waste of time.  I have, for many years, completely trusted in the Lord for whatever my come my way, however, I do have moments.  So, I was praying, crying with worry, one morning on the porch of a place I was staying at for a few days and an hour or so later, as I was preparing to go shopping, I found a Chinese cookie fortune on the floor in the living room.  Mind you, we had been there for three days already, had not eaten a meal there, hadn’t brought in any leftovers or take out and had not had Chinese food.  I had walked by this couch at least a dozen times.  But suddenly, out of nowhere is this tiny slip of paper… it reads “You need not worry about your future.”   What the heck!?  He is SO amazing!!  

In times of trouble, the Lord wants us to praise Him.  We’ve all heard that before…  Praise Him in all things.  It will make sense if you look at the big picture.  While you won’t understand much, or any of it sometimes, praise Him anyway.  Think beyond the moment and think about God’s purpose with us.  He asks us to follow Him, let Him guide us thru life.  We all know he has lessons, plans, events, situations and such in store for us that will strengthen us, mold us, bend us, tweak us, and build our character.  He wants us to become the best we can be, for ourselves and for those He has placed in our lives.  He wants us to praise Him through the good times and bad times, because every situation, every crushing blow and every joyful tear is designed to get us to where we need to be for Him.  We come in and out of each other’s lives for a reason, and the reasons are always part of God’s plan.  Recently a friend told me she and her boyfriend broke up.  She was devasted and shocked by what was basically his choice of drugs over her.  She really wasn’t even upset about him using, as much as she was about him lying about it after he decided to promise her, he would quit.  She had never asked him to stop.  It was based on a promise he made to her.  Anyway, in telling me the story and the aftermath she was dealing with she said she was beginning to question her judgement in choosing men to date.  I immediately was overcome with “no!”  And went on to explain what the Lord was telling me.  This wasn’t about the guy or even her.  There (approximately) one-year relationship and subsequent break up was about God and getting her to a place where He wanted her to be.  Teaching her a lesson that she needed to learn.  This guy had been a tool the Lord used in her life and he has, basically, served his purpose, so the relationship ended.  While it is hard to deal with, incredibly disappointing (she really felt she would marry this guy), she needed to understand that this was all a good thing!  Crazy, I know.  But that is how God works.  That is how He teaches us, through good situations and bad ones.   

Think about it in terms of raising a child.  The ultimate goal is to have a good adult at the end of the 18 years.  So, in the process of those 18 years, you, the parent, are teaching the child how to behave, say please and thank you, etc.  There are times when the child will behave badly and you must punish the child.  While the punishment is hard – sometimes for both parent and child – it is used to teach a lesson.  Hopefully the child will understand that bad behavior equals bad consequences and he’ll choose to not behave badly again.   

And in sports, one must work very hard, to be a football player, for example.  There are bumps and bruises and sweating and running and aching muscles and sore joints, however, the end result of hard work and lessons and such is a better player.  So ultimately looking back on those weeks of practice and lessons and all the pain and suffering, one could be, should be thankful for the end result.  That is where God wants us… understanding that everything we go through, literally EVERYTHING is part of His teaching us, molding us into better people.  Building our character and ultimately helping Him achieve his goals for our life and the lives of those we encounter.   

When I come to you, you must be open and willing to listen and receive what I have to offer…  what I have planned for you.  Understand that I have the best plans, I have the safest plans for you.  My dream for you is to become one with me in all that you think and do.  My dream is to be a part of your everyday life, this will ensure that you walk the path I have planned for you, the path that I have designed especially for you, the path that will not only bring you to the best life, but also will bless those around you, again, as I have designed.   

I want to give you the best I have to offer but you have to be willing to listen and follow this path.  You have a purpose, but it lays along the path I have design for you and yet is intertwined with many others. One life affects the other, in a multitude of ways.  I want the best for each and every one of you.   

Ways to follow and listen… read My Word.  Daily, constantly, with an open mind.  The messages built into that book are a miracle for humanity… it is designed to be a living word for everyone who reads it.  It is Me, as is Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is us in print.   

I walk in such a way that the Lord will guide my steps.  I walk with the knowledge that He will provide direction as I move forward.  I will not worry or fear because He knows the way.  He created the path just for me and I will find the best life for myself on His path for me.  The path will lead me through good times and bad times, with the express purpose of molding me into the human He intends me to be.  I simply need to be willing to follow His lead.   

I realized today that starting the day with Him is the best thing I could possibly do for myself and every person I encounter.  Starting the day with the Lord, dedicating myself and my actions to Him, setting myself on that path, His path for me each and every day is the ONLY way to do it right.

I am here for you, my child, in more ways than you will ever know.  I am here with a special, specific plan for your life, a plan that I devised when I created you.  This is true for each and every human being.  I am here, waiting and hoping that you will choose Me over your own selfish desires, so that you may live in abundance and in joy, as My original intent for you. Choose Me and you will never look back.  Stick with Me and you will know of every precious gift I have waiting for you.  Choose Me and you will see that I am and in that My light will shine thru you to benefit everyone you come in contact with.  This is the purpose you each and every life.  To spread My word, glorify My name and bring the lost souls back to Me.

In case you were not aware, each and every life is designed to serve others.  Your gifts, I blessed you with, are to be used to serve others.  If you are aware of Me, living in Me, listening to Me, you will know your gifts and following My path will allow you to use those gifts to their fullest potential.  In that, you will not only bless others, but you will bless yourself and Me.  Do not judge a person who likes something you do not, that desire is from me; it is part of that person’s gift and special purpose.

It is when I speak to you that you are the most blessed.  Not everyone who chooses to follow me will hear my voice so clearly.  I am speaking to you as a way to fill your heart and mind with My words, so that you may serve others.  I have waited a long time for you to be ready.  Do not think or worry about how the words I give you will be received, how they will be transmitted or when they will be distributed.  That is my concern, and it will happen, as I direct you, in My own good time.  Keep writing, as much and as often as possible and I will guide your net steps just as I have guided these paragraphs. 

As you approach each day, know that I am in you, as I have been, and I will use you as needed to bless your neighbors and your community.  I know the job will take time and this is where I need you to keep the pace, focus on nothing else until further notice.

You must trust that I know what is best for you and that I have the utmost interest in preparing you for the future I have in store for you. You must know, or come to believe, that I, and I alone, know what is best for you, how to lead you to the life of purpose I intended for you, and how to get you there in the best possible way with the best possible outcome. 

I believe with all my heart that, You Lord, will guide me in the path of righteousness and fulfillment in my life.  I trust that you will guide me and hold me in every situation and that I can revel in joy just knowing that you are with me in all circumstances – both good and bad. 

Yes, joy – I desire that from you in every situation in your life.  In every step of your journey with Me.  I am the best teacher, the best parent, the best friend, the best mentor, the best of everything you will ever know, and that you will ever need.  In that alone, you can have peace and joy every second of your life on earth, despite every negative circumstance you may encounter. 

Know that if you ignore a request from the Lord, to do something for another person… the Lord will have someone do what needs to be done for that other person.  But you needn’t feel guilty, as that is from the devil.  You should, however, realize, that what you have lost was a blessing for yourself.

You will find that when you do for the Lord, especially for another person, the joy you feel in their joy is immeasurable.

In enough of our lives, we have bound up resources that You have provided and thereby miss out on blessings and gifts You intended for us to enjoy.  Don’t let your desire to please yourself overrule your desire to please our mighty Lord.  Pleasing Him will, without a doubt, add more joy to your life than you can imagine.  It centers you on the path He intended and provides the most benefits to your life and to those in your life in more ways than you can comprehend.

I am not the kind of person He wants me to be, but within me that person exists.  The only way to find that person is to follow Him, as only He knows the correct path for me.  This is true each of us. I do not think about when I will become that person, I do not think about what it will take to become that person, I simply need to follow Him, focus on Him and I will become that person in the right way, at the right time.  Knowing that everything that crosses my path, good or bad, is there for a reason, is there to make me enjoy, or suffer, for specific reasons.  His reasons, which are ultimately, always based on love and are the best for me to experience in order to become what He planned.

I will not behave the way He intended all the time, but He already knows that and has put appropriate obstacles in my path that are meant to tweak me and mold me and shape me into who I should become for Him.

Things will never be the same once you have chosen to follow Jesus.  He is THE way, THE truth and THE light of the world.  There is no other who can compare and no other whoever will compare to the one you should follow throughout your time on earth.  This is the WORD of the LORD.  This is the way that you should live your life.  This is what God intended for all humans, every human… to have a relationship with Jesus, to follow in His footsteps and to worship God along the way.  This will provide you the BEST life possible.  This is the only way to live in the glory and with all the blessings God has designed for you.

And I will state every day from the beginning of time that He is the one and only God.  Jesus was sent to earth to explain, teach, guide, and lead all humans to Christ, too follow the Lord God, to live in His light and along the path he provided for you so that you will understand his full meaning of life.

Once I have seen what the mighty Lord has given me, I will behave in such a way that I will have earned it all.  Once I have seen what the mighty Lord has given me, I will spend less on menial, worldly tasks.  I will become one with Him in every way possible and strive to be present in Him everlasting.  Lord, grant me the wisdom to perceive what You have in store for me and to trust You in every aspect of my life.  I know the love You have for me is beyond measure, beyond anything that a mere human can fathom.  That You know all, have planned all life from the beginning of time, and know what the future holds for all humankind, tells us that we can trust you completely.
